I'm glad you liked the video carlsjr! The camera I used for this was an older Nikon Coolpix, I have a new Casio that I think will make better quality videos when I learn how to use all the features! Lol.
Here is Biscotti chatting away early this morning. Sorry, the lighting is not great- the early morning sun comes into the front of his cage & he loves to sit in it & talk and make all kinds of sounds. After watching this I see he seems to have a very itchy right nostril!
Also after listening to Dayo talk the other day ( he talks so calm & dignified! ) Biscotti has such a different talking style. They are all so unique! I suppose this is really a reflection of their caretakers......... oh dear.

Biscotti says some pretty funny things, the only one I can think of right now is "Ho, ho, ho Merry Peanut Butter!" When I think of some of the other funny stuff I will post them!
Lol, this is a funny thread. Biscotti really likes to make the raspberry sound & always says "who did that?" after making it! Usually he will then add a p.u.!! Funniest is that he won't talk in front of company, but he will do the raspberry sound!! Of course that gets a laugh, so I will have a farting parrot forever!
Biscotti said his first word at seven months, "whatchadoing?". He has not stopped since & has a pretty large vocabulary now, he just turned 2. It is amazing what they will pick up once they get started!
Awwww, he is growing so fast!! Such a cutie & looks like he is accepting the harness pretty good. The first picture looks like he is beginning to "beak" stuff, I remember when Biscotti started doing that. Keep the pictures coming!! He will be home with you before you know it
I agree with Morana- a "parrot shower" would be awesome!! I know how excited you are, you are going to love watching your baby grow & it is wonderful that you can be a part of the early stages of it's development. The early visit's I had with Biscotti at his breeders are some of my favorite memories. Enjoy!
It does sound like maybe he is beginning to cut back on formula & fledge. But you may get more response from our members with a lot of experience in this area if you post in the Nursery section. Good luck with your baby, and maybe you can introduce yourself in the introductions section!
That's sad. Your pictures are beautiful though. On a brighter note, I saw the dove in my barn out flying with her baby today! Very cute, the momma bird is very watchful. I hope this little one does okay.
