Thanks for the great introduction KC. Can't wait to hear how things go for Talula and that she has finally stopped plucking. Looking forward to hearing how Phoenix and Taluha get along. Welcome to the family.
Thanks for the information everyone and special you Dan for digging up the video. Karma to you Professor for your informative research. It's always nice to know ahead of time what we might expect from our greys.
Linnea, that's a great thing you want to do for a retired pair of breeder greys. I know you will check out the pros and cons with a reliable person. Good luck to you.
Char, can't wait to pictures of the Hilltop Aviary. It sounds like such a great place.
If it is convenient, I would take Chikki if it is safe to do so and as long as he is with you and can get out with you some. I think it would be great fun for all.
Hi Shannon so glad you decided to join the Grey family. I have a pug named Lily she is my very special little lady. Can't wait to hear more about Diego, and see some pictures if you have any to share. Welcome to the family!
Congratulations Ernzzz on your new Hans Macaw, can't wait the see some pictures. Let us know how the homecoming goes this afternoon. And congratulations on naming your grey, Blue is a great name!
Congratulations on your older grey. This is probably what was meant to happen. You will be a great parront to this older grey and you will finally have your life long companion. Can't wait to hear how it all goes.
I bathe my Ana Grey in the kitchen sink (easier for me), she enjoys it now but it took a couple of times for her to get use to it. Same with the sprayer misting. She hated it at first but now if she sees her mister she quickly climbs to the top of her playtop so she can fluff up, spread her wings and flap away. Now she looks forward to her misting. After a bath or a misting she is most vocal and talks away. Of course she might just be cursing me for messing up her do!!!!!
KC, why don't you contact avianbiotech.com and have Phoenix dna tested and then you will know for sure. They are both very nice looking greys. I hope Taluha stops plucking. Karma to you for taking in an older grey. Oh, have you introduced yourself in the Welcome Room so everyone can get to know you and say hi?

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/08/10 18:48
Congratulations on your new baby. The time for Microchipping I believe would be best when you and your avian vet determined the time would be right. Can't wait to hear more about your new baby. I'm excited for you!
