Thanks for the update,sounds as if things are off to a good start .I hope things continue to go well but if there are little hic cups along the way dont be disappointed,as the others have said, re-homes tend to bring a little baggage with them, but im confident these two guys are going to have a great life with you

You ramble all you like Pat, if it helps Well sounds like a potential accident was avoided due to your quick thinking,you constantly need your wits about you when you own birds.At least everyone has come through unscathed.Hope your feeling a little better now.
Some greys are very sensitive to change,something such as the introduction of a plant can become a big issue for a grey.Encourage David to continue to have contact,let him be the one to offer treats etc..let your baby see that he is a good guy & not a threat.

As soon as they begin to sprout they are at there most nutritious,you can keep them refrigerated for 1 or 2 days & they tend to continue to sprout.Here is a previous thread..
