Yes Monique, it is wonderful that they are looking for a good home for her. It's just sad to see that she has had such a rough time of it at such a young age. I only hope that her next home if her final, & most loving home she can have.:dry:
Well Everyone who is interested in this thread.
Talonsis just finished the last & final Harry Potter Book in 9 hours. {Emotions-00020075}
She won't share any info with me, so I'm on my own. I certainly won't read it in 9 hours, because I'm here too much, but I will read it.
I would rescue him, but I'm far away, and I don't think 2 greys would get along so well at my house, considering they would both be out of their cages most of the time.
I agree with you birdgranna. Some one needs to rescue him. :( It shouldn't cost anything to get him back to being healthy. Just love, attention, and good care.:dry:
Josh, I had to use the backwards technique ( putting my finger from behind) when we first were teaching Talon to step up, as she would bite if you put your finger near her belly. It didn't take long before she understood, and allowed us to have her step up from the front. Sounds like you're doing very well. Keep it up!
I wonder if this is different for CAGs vs. TAGs. Talon never tries to get out of her cage. She is a tag, and seems to be less destructive in her toys as well. Just curious....:huh:
Kathy, Hi & Welcome to our family. Judy pretty much answered all your questions. Read as much as you can here. There is some excellent advice based on years of experience from all our members. We are happy you are here.
I love your choice of presents!! Any questions, feel free to ask away. If you have a photo, please post it in our What do you look like thread. :)
All the supermarkets near my house have salad & fruit bars. That's how I get different things for Talon to try. But she won't eat anything unless I eat some first.
Josh, Congratulations! I'm so happy you took this cute bird into your home. I know you will love it, and take great care of it. Please keep us posted! :)
Steve, I was talking to her on the IM after she came home from the hospital and the next day. I'm so sorry, things are so difficult for her right now. Please tell her she is in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. We'll miss you, but look forward to her return.
And tell her Thank you for letting us know, we do worry when we don't hear from a member of this family for a few days.
GET WELL SOON!! {Love-000200C5}
Dan & Judy, I couldn't have said it better myself. I watched it twice with tears both times. (don't think I can handle a third time!)
Frank, as Judy says, I never want to be without you in my life either. You truly love every one of our family members and their birds. Your one of a kind. Thank you for loving us, and for being here, where you belong.
