This is a wonderful idea and thread. I am ashamed to say that I don't have $$ saved for my 3 birds, but I do feel confident that in the event they need expensive care, I have many plastic cards to use and won't hesitate to use them if needed.

Hi, just wondering........how many members here have started a Baby Bird Book? :eek: I never did, It was hard enough keeping up baby books for my 4 kids! I wished I had started books for my birds though. Would love to hear about yours. :cool::cool::cool:

Hi Jill, we are in the process as we speak of putting in anti-spam programs that will stop this type of annoyance. Soon it will all come to and end......hang in there a bit more....but right now, it's becoming a full time job for me to remove it all.....

My birds LOVE the dvd the bird sitter, it plays continuously........Parrots need a minimum of 10-12 hours sleep each night. I know if my birds are up later and don't get their 12 hours, they misbehave the next day. Their sleep coincides with daylight hours. They are up early even though they are covered, so I have to put them to bed a bit earlier.

Jess, just a suggestion......but maybe a distraction for her.......playing the Bird Sitter dvd while you are out, may change her mood and feel closer to a flock while you are gone. Perhaps she'll scream at them and get it out of her system, or just be happy and content having a flock of her own. Thus welcoming you when you do come home. Another thought, is she getting enough sleep at night? Perhaps she needs more sleepy time?

Judy, you have to upload the image from your computer. It's in the editor under the edit signature option. JILL & Others:: Here are the instructions so you can get fancy with your sig.... go to settings, general settings in your profile......scroll down.....miscellaneous options.........then click on enhanced interface.... click save changes......then go to edit signature.........you can change color, font, size and add pictures with this.
