Ferduno
Hi there I have noticed 2 holes that is in the region between the neck and the shoulder on the top side. Is this just normal muscle forming? ie the shoulder splitting. I am little worried that she has had this becuase of recent stresses of us moving house and not eating as much. This area is quite defined and don't remember this being there before. Iris is 1 year and 2 months. I hope that you can help me guys and gals. All the best Fergi
Char
By holes, do you mean lack of feathers, bare spots, or breaks in the skin? Can you post a picture?
danmcq
Pictures or a much more detailed description is needed to understand this completely.
Ferduno
Imagine you had some playdough, and you pressed your two thumbs in it. There would be two indents with a slight ridge between them, so really just lack of musculature.
Char
Unless you can show us a photo I think I think it would be useless and possibly dangerous for your bird for us to try to imagine and guess what you are seeing. I think you need to have it looked at by a vet asap.

Post edited by: Char, at: 2009/06/12 14:
Dave007
Char and Dan are totally right. Close up photos from different angles helps a lot.
