Bekkie Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 I give her the legbone and she is mad about it, she actually only eat the ends off, you know the soft parts.
Guest briansmum Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 yes, they can eat the marrow too can't they. i am cooking a chicken for dinner tonight, i think i will see what brian makes of the bone. thankyou for your help bekkie

Tari Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Hmm never fed mine any chicken Next time Ill try that. Do you clean off all the chicken meat?
Bekkie Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 ja you clean of most of the meat, I don,t know if they will eat the meat
Guest briansmum Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 they can eat a bit of chicken meat, not alot though. best to eat the chicken yourself then hand the bone over
Guest briansmum Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 http://www.africangreys.com/articles/nutrition/healthygrey.htm that is quite a useful page, if you look at the list of foods next to the protein bit chicken bones are listed there. i read another article saying they should be given regularly, the meat is also ok, but NOT chicken skin.
Guest briansmum Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 you're welcome. yes it is good, i have saved it to my favourites. theres a few things on there i hadn't even thought of trying.
Bekkie Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Here is the link to the video o Bekkie eating a chickenbone, I just hope it works, this is the first time I tried uploading a video
