lovethatgrey Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hopefully, the majority of us do not ever have to think of giving up our feathered loved ones, however sometimes it is the best choice after all other options have been exhausted. Here is a helpful link with useful questions to ask the potential parrot owner to make sure they know what exactly they are commiting to. http://www.birdbrains.ca/en/resources/health-and-safety/p17096149.html {Feel-good-00020114}

Post edited by: lovethatgrey, at: 2009/05/17 04:46

MBSolberg Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Thank you very much for that link, luvsparrots. I wish someone would have asked me those questions before I adopted. I have bookmarked it and will use it as a questionaire if necessary. I hope you never have to rehome, either, Tycos_mom. It's a very sad thing. But I made a mistake and now want to do my very best to make sure that Simon gets a home where he is understood, loved, and where they can spend the time with him that he deserves. I could give him the first 2, but not the last one. :-( Mary
