Scale for my Grey

I'm sure you will have no problem, if you use it to start out with, Josey will step on it without the perch, in fact I had a problem getting her to stand on the perch on it.

You don't need your bird to stand on it for more then just a few seconds.. That's it.. You won' thave a problem with it..

As CD said, you won't have a problem getting your Grey to stand on it. Especially since it will be young and open to being trained.

 

Dayo just stepped right on to the perch for me when I tried weighing him on Saturday.

youd think so, i COULD NOT get brian to stand on the flat scales, no way no how, not even grapes worked. i hadn't weighed him for 2 weeks trying to get him to stand still. now i have the perch ones he's fine n dandy

That is so funny, Beccy, you can't get Brian to get on the flat scale but I can't get Josey to get on the perch, just shows how individual our birds really are.

i'm sure over time i could have trained him to stay put, but it wasn't worth not being able to weigh him for so long.
