Hi

 

I have been looking for a harness for Boesman can you believe that not one of our petshops around here has that!!!!!! Some of them didn't even know you get stuff like that for birds aww SA is all that I can say lol.....

 

If I do get one I am planning to go to the bigger petshops in the city can I still teach him to wear it??

Or is he too big now 18months.....{Nature-00020095}

My birds wear a harness that is typicly not for birds but its very light weight and easy to put on its call a lil critter harness and the size is 6to10 inches. its a figure 8 and only weighs 5gr and only has 1 tiny clip you may have more luck finding one of these harnesses in your pet store. It also can be worn the other way so that the leash can be attached in the front

My bird would freak out if I put one of those things on her!! I feel lucky enough to have trained her to wear her flight suit :silly:

Doesn't she pick at the straps of a flight suit? Tobie wore a flight suit all summer and I'll have to admit it was easier to get on than the aviator harness. She did pick at the straps a few times. In fact, she destroyed two flight suits prior to the one we have now. What a brat!
