judygram Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 If I do say so myself they are beautiful Pat and I can see the handiwork of Tyco and the gang, thanks for sharing those pics with us.
Luvparrots Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 These are great pictures of Tyco and Adaya. You are so lucky Tyco has such a big heart!! You do a great job with all your fantastic birds. Karma to you and I salute you, Pat!!!
Tycos_mom Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 yes Judy that just from Tyco it doesn't seem to matter how many toys or Natural branches or wood blocks I get for that bird she just love the natural wood trim thats all around the house Oh well its easy enough to replace. she has kept it to just around her cage for now so its not to bad I guess she just can't help herself You shoug see what she done to the trim around the ceiling
judygram Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I guess that wood just tastes better huh but you're right it can be replaced easily enough.
Tycos_mom Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 I just want to ask if others that have 2 or more greys if they get along with each other I cannot beleive how fast Tyco accepted Adaya is this what normally happens when 2 Greys are put together or do they usually not get along at all
Jane08 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I think if you introduce them correctly and socialise them like you did then I feel they have no problems getting along. When we got our second one I was very worried as Rangi could be a bit of a bully. We did exactly like you and had them in separate cages where they could see each other, we socialised them at their pace and never pushed them to like each other. Within a week they were interacting with each other. Rangi became such a happy bird to have Kea to play with and preen. He used to fly to her cage and sit on the perch that came off the cage and just watch over her. Really reminds me a bit of what Tyco is doing in the last picture watching over the Adaya.

Post edited by: Jane08, at: 2009/05/03 11:30
