Sterling Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I am looking for a way to travel to Hawaii with my flock. It appears that no airline will allow pet birds in the cabin to Hawaii. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Dave007 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 You need to find an airline that transports pets in a special cargo area made just for pets. Most airlines won't allow pets in the sitting area except for service dogs.

cflanny Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 you can not take any animals to Hawaii ever. They have very strict policies and you have to jump thru hoops for months. I have been looking into moving to Hawaii and last year when I went I wanted to take my dog. Its a big nono for the islands as they are rabies free and require a quarantine till this year it was 6 months but they changed some rules to be stightly more lax but again after jumping thru hoops for quite awhile. I will try and find the link for you. Now I am not 100% about birds but I believe their policies restrict them also.
