Weight question

I was wondering how much a 4 week old baby CAG should weigh, and how much they should gain a day or a week.

Its hard to say as their is a large differece in African Greys there are small framed birds and large famed birds the range at full size is 350 gr to 600gr so unless you know the size the baby bird is going to be its impossable to know what its sopposed to weigh at 4 weeks old. Did you just adopt a unweaned 4 week old baby? If you did I hope you have handfeeding expeiriance and if you don't please read through the handfeeding threads in the Nursery Your bird should be gaining weight everyday even if its just a little as long as it continues to gain I think its ok

Yes I did just get him, And Yes I do have experiance, I hand fed my quaker..But a Quaker and a Grey are totally differant, So I just wanted to know the weight for a grey. So just as long as it gains a little every day huh? Sounds good to me! Thanks!
