This is Aiden...he was born 6~5~07...he weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. The whole family is so excited...it's been a long time since we've had a baby in the family... :)

There is not a more beautiful sight as looking at new life. The sheer innocence is overwhelming, breathtaking. It makes you retreat on your steps when pacing everyday life and puts you back to what it is really all about.

I hope he will grow up to be a healthy, happy and free young man, and

I wish his parents and your whole family the best wishes,

congratulations Heatherstrella :)

Post edited by: FairY, at: 2007/06/16 14:34

I just noticed the father wearing a wristbandtag like one gets in the hospital. Is that so? Do fathers also get tagged in hospitals in the U.S.? Here, only mothers and babies do (because they are the only ones staying in the hospital).

A very precious gift, thank you for sharing Heatherstrella :)

Yes, FairY, the fathers get the wristbands too. The babies and the mothers have alarms. If the baby gets too far from the mom, the alarm goes off. Also, if your baby gets too close to a different mom in the hospital the alarm goes off so you don't end up with the wrong baby.

Wowwwwww... that's very sophisticated

Thank you for letting me know. I didn't even know something like that existed!

I like the idea of a father wearing a wristband as well :)
