majikboxman
Since the weather is getting nice, I'm looking to take my birds out into the screened in 3 season porch 'supervised only' soon. I am wanting make a little jungle gym 'of sorts' out of rope so they can climb across them from point a to point b. A network of rope leading to different directions for the birds to climb on. They would be able to access it from a perch & play perch I have. What material of rope would be best to use ? Cotton ? Thanks.

Luvparrots
I have wrapped a couple of playstands with sisal rope and make a couple of "crossing/hanging bridges for my grey with it. It seems to work great for her.

Luvparrots
Ana Grey has a climbing net much like the one lovethatgrey posted. Ana's is 5' x 8 ' and hangs in front of my office window. Ana Grey's loves to travel between the net and her cage across her sisal rope bridge. I have hung foraging toys and other toys all through the net. She spends a lot of sunlight hours on that net in front of the window. I can't wait until it is warmer so I can open the window and let the sunlight in.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/04/12 02:
