Tiger
Hi my baby Timneh is 15 weeks old today. She is super smart tries to vocalize often and wants to gogogo through the house with me of course. To do this she lets me know by grabbing me with her beak anywhere she can gently of course and looks the way she wants to go. When i do not listen to her she get furious and starts biting. I put her on Top with her Toys (her cage) where she can't get to me anymore and she runs around LMAO and pushes her toys everywhere asif throwing a fit. What Do I Do To Stop this behavior.. heres my angel
judygram
Angel huh, doesn't much sound like an angel but yes she is trying to assert her authority, she thinks she rules the roost and if you let her get away with it then she does rule. You are going to have to just let her throw her toys everywhere and then she has nothing to play with but don't go back and get them for her, she has to learn how to amuse herself. Do you have any toys hanging or attached to the cage that she cannot throw overboard? She is just like a two year old child, she will have tantrums to get her way but you have to be smart enough to be a step ahead of her and not give in to these hissy fits. Tiger
Thank you lol yeah she is an absolute lover until she wants to walk around the house. Which has been quite alot lately. Just had another battle with me winning. She went to her water dish and gave her self a bath.(along with my floor) lol then she was a crazy bird flying in place on Top Perch. She sure is funny when shes mad but it's not gonna be a habit thats for sure. (Prays) lol Thank you again

Lyric
Are her wings clipped? I was just wondering why she doesn't just fly where she wants to go. Maybe she hasn't fledged yet I guess but it should be soon... You think this is challenging, just wait til 1 1/2 yrs old or so when they start the terrible two's!! As far as throwing her toys on the floor- I thought that was just one of their favorite games to play- how many times will mom pick this up if I drop it? Mine think that game is BIG FUN!
