TalonSis Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007  Maybe I should fool around with some of Talon's pictures...we all know how well I did on CD's hair. Melissa
Guest Lidia Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 It must be the missing parrot from the Breughel painting of the peasant wedding! Look at the man in red's legs.

Guest briansmum Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 lidia thats amazing! that would look great printed on a huge canvass hung on a wall!
Guest Lidia Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Thanks Fairy and Becky, I did it a few years ago on the computer, I wish I could paint it up. I suppose I could have it printed onto a canvas. Do you think there is a potential market for Warhol-style parrot photos? Lidia

judygram Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I have seen that toy somewhere, I wanted to get one for Josey, but are expensive for toys. Love the picture, theres some very good photos, gonna be a hard decision to make, glad its not me that has to decide which one.
Tari Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 ya they are expensive so I bought the balls and then added the goodies myself. I made four of them for the cost of one plus 15 bucks but had some stuff here like the rope. Two quaker size ones two Budgie size and that one in the picture. lol
judygram Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I am not the creative type, or I would do the same thing. Looks like Que loves to play in it, sometimes you never know what will attract them to some of their toys. Some of the ones I have offered to Josey she likes others she won't play with, money down the drain if they won't play with them.
Tari Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I have enough birds that someone well play with it. lol And if they don't I just take appart and revamp. I'm not creative either but the birds dont care what it looks like.
birdgranna Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Tari where did you get that wonderful big ball your grey is in?
Tari Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I made post here http://www.greyforums.net/forums/african-grey/15697-parrot-jolly-ball-website.html with the link for the ball. I bought an undone up one and did it up myself.
CeasarsDad Posted June 29, 2007 Author Posted June 29, 2007 Hi Tari.. Great Peek a Boo shots.. thanks for entering them...
Guest Lidia Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Tari, That ball toy looks wonderful. I'd love to try one, or one of the parrot 'cosies' I sometimes see. Joshua loves being under material, crawling under the duvet, behind cushions, etc, but he can be quite difficult when getting used to new things in the cage or the flat. When I changed his cage the year before last, it took him a long and very traumatising month to get used to it. Now, of course, the silly bugger loves it. Did you have any problems with introducing the ball?

Post edited by: Lidia, at: 2007/07/01 19:01
