jake82 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 hello all! new to the forum. been a bird owner most of my life, but first time CAG owner. i just wanted to say that these birds are amazing! my buddy, Gus, is about 6 months old now. i've only had him for a month now and i'm just shocked at how fast he learns things. since i've had him, he's learned how to say 12 phrases and knows the meaning of 4 words (water, poopy, bye-bye, come on). he even let's out the occasional "woohoo!" when he's playing. anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and share the joy that Gus has given me this past month. i'll try snap some pictures of him, but he's still a little nervous when i bring the camera close.

So you don't have a camera ham huh, some of the greys here are and we get some of the cutest pictures but thats ok, we will take what we get. What other kind of birds have you had and do you still have other birds at this time? Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.
