Tycos_mom
Last night I was watching some utube videos of baby bird and the little bird wher chirping and and making all kinds of noises. Shady heard the babys and had almost climbed completely out of the box S/he's in Its a good thing I noticed because s/he might have hurt himself if s/he made it out and fell onto the floor. Now I'm a bit worried do you think I should put him in a cage now S/he has enough feathers to stay warm and I keep my house at about 72to75 degrees all the time. Shady hasn't tried todo that again I think s/he just heard the babies chirping on utube and want real badly to see them s/he is a very curiious baby. judygram
Yeah I would say you could especially if you have a smaller one you could use until Shady gets big enough for a full size cage, just pad the bottom and leave the perches out until he/she needs them. You got a curious one that wants to be where the action is, that is so cute and sweet.
Tycos_mom
Well Now that Shady knows s/he can get out of the box there is no way to stop her/him if in the mood to play and explore I have never seen so much determination in a little baby I had her/him out on my bed and he/she spotted the light flashing on my computer well shady had to check out that light no matter what climbing over everything in his/her path to get to it. what fun to watch but I can tell I'm going to have to keep a very close eye on this little one. S/he going to a ball of feathered trouble I can tell already. I put her/him in my travel cage for now. I'll have to go out to the shed and get something a bit bigger later on today but for now Shadys in a 18"x17"x24"tall It will do till I go dig the other little bigger cage up for him/her. The one in the shed is 27"wide 22"deep and 27" tall its a Conure size cage but it will do until Shady Grey is old enough for his/her full size cage. The Conure size cage will still fit beside my bed so I can hear him/her if s/he has a problem

Post edited by: Tycos_mom, at: 2009/03/23 00:
judygram
Sounds like a plan Pat, you got one curiosity seeker and you are going to have your hands full with him/her but don't you just love it. I know we are in for some good stories of the adventures and maybe misadventures of Shady.
