Dave007
Absolutely not. All that type of food is greasy. Most mexican food is fried and like other fried food, it's no good.

judygram
The onions are a forbidden food in itself, you should not be giving Clark any onion however it is prepared. The vegetables off the mexican salad bar mjay not be fried but they may have been soaked in some kind of oil or oil mixture and that is not good for them. Why don't you just give him some fresh, canned or frozen vegetable from the grocery store, many of us feed our greys those and the frozen are about as nutritious as fresh because they are usually flash frozen to preserve the vitamin content. Thejondude
no i do obviousley i just noticed they had spicy carrots and wondered if he like them because i see some of you guys feed your greys jalapenos so i thought id ASK......... Clarks diet consists of pretty bird african pellets toast in the am maybe some banana lunch is an apple dinenr is whatever i eat thats healthy and like leafy greens and night snack is popcorn or pretzels so i dont think he is lacking much.. every few days i rotate different veggies also i heard pretty bird pellets are expensive but i think i found a cheap site.... http://www.foryourbird.com/page/foryourbird/PROD/pbafrican/PBAS5/SESSION_ID/b35676f3336b9688661012246248aad7
judygram
Greys can handle those hot peppers, they aren't really affected by the heat from them like we are. I would be careful giving him popcorn and pretzels as they have a lot of salt on them so save them for an occasional treat and not an everyday food. You can also offer grains and legumes, they like most any kind of bean and sprouted seeds and grains are usually a big hit and very nutritious. SchroedersJen
Mexican veggies are soaked in vinegar, salt, sugar and (occasionally) tequilla. I'ts good that you asked, but there is a better way to get spicy veggies to your bird. You can get a tiny bit of red palm oil, gring or chop some pepers or chilis from the grocery store and add veggies. score the veggies so that more of the flavor is absorbed. This way you have a healthy treat for your grey.
