So having Indy for about a month now and seeing how amazing he is and reading Alex and Me really got me thinking about all of the African Greys out there without a loving home. I'm a huge believer in rescue, all of my other pets are rescues. So since I know I can not take on any more feathered friends, Indy and I have decided to sponser an African Grey at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. I don't know if any of you guys have ever been there or seen them on Animal Planet, if you ever are in Utah its worth a trip. They have several greys at their sanctuary here's a link if anyone else would like to sponser!

Yea great to hear that! I saw them on animal planet, its truely wonderful what they are doing.

I m looking into adopt another parrot, but I probably wouldnt be a good candidate for those pets since it seems like they do require a lot more care than my experience can offer.

I also have a baby on the way which will take some time away from my parrot babies, but I do want to go help out at a sanctuary like place after my baby is born, too bad I m not anywhere near Utah or "Best Friends" will be my first choice!
