Ice
Hi all. I was wondering, Roxy started eating vegetables lately, I cook it for her, but the thing is, I don't think it tastes so good. She likes it alot, but I feel sorry for giving her food that has no taste, cant I add a little salt or sugar? Help, plz
CeasarsDad
No that's not necessary.. Our taste buds and theirs are completely different.. What's good to them isn't even remotely good to us...
Karla
hey ice, just remember that they have different taste in things so what might not be tasty for you might be tasty for them.... I haven't started the veggies with tequila yet only starting next week. Here are lots of people here that would be able to assist you better! CeasarsDad
Remember, a really great way to get the necessary veggies to them is to purchase bags of frozen mixed veggies. Each morning you take a hand full out, nuke them in a glass of water and you're ready to go...

Guest Monique
No salt or sugar needed. If we never used salt or sugar they'd taste good plain to us as well. Or at least I think they would .
Caspersmum
Hi Ice, I'd go along with what the others say - although I'd add that I tend to just give Casper his veggies raw - he likes green beans, mange tout, broccoli, peppers, courgettes... I just give him a bit of whatever I have in the house for myself (I'm a bit of a vegeholic, so there's always plenty around). I thnk he likes the texture, and it's easier for him to hold them if they're not cooked and mushy! I also feed him whatevery I've cooked for myself - he likes tomato based sauces (to which I've usually added lots of chilli and herbs - but no salt), vegetable soups, mashed sweet potato, vegetable curry sauces... its nearly tea time, and I'm geting a bit carried away! But basically, if you cook from scratch, you can just try all sorts of things - and flavours. Julia
