Mistyparrot Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Misty has taken a shine for my iPodtouch ! If he spots me playing with it he zooms down on me and tries to snatch it from me whilst saying "Its not for you" Should I turn him in to the Parrot Police? Steve n Misty
Eckobird Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Hahahah how funny is that!! Why does Misty like the ipod so much? Is it because your playing music and he doesn't know what the noise is? LOL try to catch this on video!
lovethatgrey Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Seems like Misty has good taste in electronics.Unless you wish to replace it.....I'd keep it out of sight.
judygram Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009  Thats the reason Josey doesn't see me with my blackberry touch screen phone, that is too expensive an toy for them to get a hold of. Now if you have an old phone you could let him have maybe he will leave yours alone, I know wishfull thinking. :pinch: :silly:
Mistyparrot Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 Misty is only interested in it when I am holding it. Otherwise he won't bother with it. He is not interested in my phone although as a general rule whatever I have in my hand is his. That's where he learned the phrase "it's not for you" Steve n Misty

Post edited by: Mistyparrot, at: 2009/03/11 17:49
judygram Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Don't you remember the first rule is that what is yours is his too, all you got to do is touch it and he wants it now, no wonder he is saying "it's not for you" so much:laugh:
Luvparrots Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Ahhh poor Misty, she's just trying to keep up with the times!!!
danmcq Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 LOL Steve, It's because, what theirs is their's... whats yours is theirs... whats a family members is thiers... what any other critters may have is theirs..... and ultimately whatever else may come in that house or eye sight is theirs. " :-) Now you know....... ;-)
chimaysmommy Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I know I've seen novelty Ipods out there that are just plastic containers with gum/candy inside. Maybe if you are able to find one of those, take the candy out and replace it with treats he could have his own Ipod Forager? Ha ha!!
Char Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 It is the same with the t.v. remote for me. She is crazy about the remote. I had to give her the extra one as a toy so she will leave mine alone while I am trying to watch t.v. I took the batteries out and said here you go.
