Jaguar Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 Anyone feed these to there Grey ? in UK there Lychees but in china i think there called Litchi. i found out there are a rich source of Vitamin C, as well as calcium, potassium and phosphorus. ... judygram Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I have never seen them here in the US and don't know anything about them but what I do know is it is edible but not the seed pit, probably ok to give to your grey just don't let him have the seed pit. I haven't seen them on the forbidden foods list so I think I will introduce them to my parrots after a quick call to the avian vet. Just to be on the safe side. she Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Charlie loves them,they are good for them but they are sweet so may have a high sugar content.Charlie loves pulling the skin from them and is very carefull to eat every bit of the white flesh.
