increase in adoptable birds

I just wanted to remind everybody that with the economy in a tailspin that many people are losing their pets along with their homes. There are lots of parrots and other pets for adoption. Consider checking out the classified section of newspapers and even check with your vet (that is where I got my Layla). You will be richly rewarded for your effort by taking in a special pet who has lost their home or is about ready to lose their home.

 

A close friend of mine now has been convinced that she must adopt a bird now too and she is scouring www.kijiji.com hourly to find just the right bird. She is hoping to get one that is plucked too that she can help out. Her husband is already in the process of building a flight cage for their future bird or birds! :laugh:
