Guest briansmum
Brian is pooping much less than he used to, the colour and everything is fine. is it just because he is eating completely solid food now which takes longer to get through them that the soft mushy liquid baby food he was having? Guest Monique
It could be that he utilizes more of the nutrients in his new diet directly and there is less fiber passing through. Keep weighing him and as long as that is okay and the look and consistentcy of his droppings are okay I don't think you need to worry at all. Caspersmum
Hey beccy, I completely agree with Monique. I'd also add that it's possible that as he gets older he's able to take more nutrients out of his food, and so there'd be less waste coming out - I know this happens with humans - it just takes a wee while for their digestive tracts to develop fully, and it's likely to be the same with birds. splint101
The reason for this is the baby food contained more water than he is getting now out of the solids. Max's poop is also less and less runny....{Feel-good-00020069}
