Talking this soon?

Mickey is almost 4 months and is already sounding like he may talk soon. He mumbles and talks in jiberish, nothing is clear yet but he's definitely trying! Does anyone remember how long it took their bird to speak clearly after hearing them practice making words?

Brian has just started doing that too, he's done the zwits zwoo whistle a couple of times, and makes jibberish noises i've never heard him do before and he's barely doing his baby peeps now. i'm not expecting words anytime soon, but i'm loving the progress.

Harrison was talking at 3 months old when we got him. Not mumbling, but actually saying words/phrases.

Thats great that they are talking so early, I am still waiting for clear words and she is 1 year old. You lucky guys, I'm jealous.:whistle:

Keep talking to him Judygram, I'd even start singing (if I'd ran outta words )

Judy, Yes, as FairY says, keep talking to her. Look her in the eye, and say whatever word you want her to say, and repeat it several times. Try that for days, and see if it helps get her started. I would try to pick a word that sounds like something she is already mumbling. They seem to pick up words that have a lot of emotion in it also. So keep that in mind. And Good luck!
