I've always cooked my grey's sweet potatoes. What's everyone's opinion on serving them raw? I found a pack of sweet potato sticks at the local grocery store which would be mighty convenient. The look like the carrot sticks they already eat.

Go for it Jim, I don't see why not. I have always cooked the sweet potatoes for my grey as that is how I eat them but if they will eat them raw then why not, might be a change.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think its only white potatoes that are not to be fed raw.

Taken from another post in the bird food room:

""Sweet potato - Raw or slightly microwaved (45-60 seconds per sweet potato). It tastes sweeter that way, but is still crunchy and appetizing.""<br><br>Post edited by: judygram, at: 2009/02/09 02:51
