Advice on toweling?

I would like to learn and practice toweling with Ash.

I don't want to wait until an emergency to start learning how to towel. I've tried searching online, but feels like there's not enough information.

I've tried wrapping her with a towel, but she starts flapping. Do I need to put her on her back immediately after I get the towel around her?

Your advice is greatly appreciated. Any one have videos?

That is probably a good idea for you never know when you might have to towel her in an emergency.

You could use the towel in playing with her, try hide and seek or some other game where you are using the towel so she gets used to it being around her. It will be stress enough if an emergency occurs but at least she will be used to being in a towel if you have to restrain her.

I got my grey the end of November and from the very first have had a towel around for her to see. I keep one on the back of my desk chair where Ana Grey sits while I am typing. I also have always cuddled her with a towel, so she will get use to it and also because of the little "accidents" birds are prone to have. I also play peekaboo with a towel and cover her head during the game. A towel is such a part of her life from the very beginning that she is totally unafraid of one. I can cover her with a towel and she just works her way out. Sorry, I haven't try videos yet, but here are some pictures. I guess what I'm saying is have a towel around for your grey to get use to as if it is just an every day occurrence.
