LilosMom Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 What is the best parrot magazine for CAG owner in your opinion? I want to subscribe to one for bed time reading..
judygram Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I am right fond of Bird Talk magazine, it has wonderful stories, plenty of pictures, usually a centerfold of a particular species and it lists a lot of the bird shows and seminars going on that month.
Kaedyn Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I have to agree with Judy. This month they had a great photo of a black palm cockatoo. That's one beautiful, yet scary looking parrot. Amazon is a good place to go if you are looking for an inexpensive subscription. Last month they were running a special where they reduced the final cost by a few extra dollars at checkout
danmcq Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 BirdTalk is the best in my opinion also. The articles are always very good, the photos/centerfold excellent and great articles each month on a topic that always brings out a point or two you may not have known or researched before.
Sallas Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I was looking for a parrot magazine myself lately, but it seems there are not many magazines for parrots.
tibanks Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I too like Bird Talk, but I also enjoy Companion Parrot Quarterly.
