Infant being less then 1 year old. I'm refering to the dust and dander. Does anyone here have that situation or been through that situation? MazyAK Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 The only thing is an allergy, but that is not a common occurrence. You want to keep the infant out of reach from the bird but give them each visual exposure to the other. They will grow together. An infant moves suddenly and quickly and may startle the bird so just keep them at safe distance until the bird has accepted the child.
