SweetFX
I wanted to share my experience with this amazing flat perch. First....I am not affliated with them ...I am just one happy customer. Before I got Rexxy I saw a concrete type flat perch in a grey's cage and when I got Rexxy I knew I wanted one. I searched the web for weeks and finally found this great company. http://sqwatters.com/ I have 2 now in Rexxy's cage, 1 at the top for a hiding place and one by his veggie food bowl and he take food there and eats. Or just sits and plays. I have the med size. Anyway....I just wanted to share. ---Sweet Post edited by: SweetFX, at: 2009/01/27 05:46

Post edited by: SweetFX, at: 2009/01/27 05:
SweetFX
Here is a pic of the bottom side. You could hang it this way too if you wanted.
LisaM
Thanks Sweet! I have a flat stone perch in a couple of my cages also and only one of my birds uses them (but loves them). I like the fact that if used upside down you could put some foraging stuff up there or even some water to splash around in). I might get one of these and see if I can entice my Grey up there. Nice find! Lisa
lyngucci
Lisa M, Please do not put water in your upside down flat perch. They are covered with a grit surface paint which has a water based glue in it.Totally safe, but it will make your surface gooey and loose paint. If you want one that you can add water to , let me know. I will make you one that is totally water safe and tight. The ceramic if not sealed is very water absorbent, like a clay flower pot??? sqwatters.com/ lynn@sqwatters.com/lyngucci on this forum

LisaM
Ah...thanks Lynn. I might have figured that out if I got one, but probably not until it was too late. The ones I currently have don't have a ridge and they are actually real rock so there's nowhere to put water. I just thought it looked like a fun idea. Thanks again, Lisa
