MickeyandMe
Where do you buy your bird toys? Our local pet stores either don't carry any or they are so over priced that I just can't justify buying them.

Caspersmum
Can't help, I'm afraid - but you have a much better selection of bird stuff in the states than we do in the UK. Whenever i google parrot toys, I start getting VERY jealous! If you're wanting to save money, you can buy parrot toy parts online to make your own toys - which can be better than buying the whole thing as you can tailor the toys to your parrots preferences. Shop well! Julia
Guest Monique
I usually get mine at Chirp and Squawk, Doctor's Fosters and Smith, and I like a lot of things at Star Birds. I also plan to do some serious shopping at Parrot Toy Angel to see if they have some other things I want. I love shopping for my birds. It can get SO expensive. I know I should start making toys myself ... it would not be that hard to do ... I just worry about them looking all the same if I buy a set of 100 wooden blocks in 4 colors and some chain . I do have a phone book hung up in my Macaw's cage to tear apart so I guess that is one hand-made toy.
judygram
I have purchased from bird.com, busybeaks.com and avianlove.com plus the ones that Monique mentioned. You can also buy baby toys that are safe for birds. And it can get very expensive but I love shopping for new toys.
spookyhurst
The local pets stores by me also have nada for birds. I make a lot of my own toys. My favorite place for buying parts (they also have plenty of toys:)) is Grey Feather Toys http://www.greyfeathertoys.com/. I stock up on lots of rope, leather, and wood parts from them. Windy City Parrot http://www.windycityparrot.com/ is another good one. I recently made my first order from Birds Just Wanna Have Fun http://www.birdsjustwannahavefun.com/index.php. If you've ever seen the DVD Captive Foraging, they carry all of the toys featured in it. The Perch http://www.theperchstore.net/ is also very good, and frequently have free shipping specials. I believe today is one of those days too . The last one that comes to mind is That Pet Place http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/index.web. This is where I buy all of Nikko's pinatas because I can't find them cheaper anywhere else. Shipping is a bit high, so I buy 20+ of the large ones at a time. Caspersmum
Its SOOOO unfair! I wish we had all the great shops you have - I'm kind of busy studying at the moment, but for all you budding entrepreneurs, I think there's a big gap in the market for decent, reasonably priced parrot toys in the UK.... please....!! MickeyandMe
That is a bummer Caspersmum, I'll keep my fingers crossed that one day you'll have a decent place to shop. Thanks everyone for the links, I'm going to bookmark them all and go shopping!
judygram
I'm going to be buying some toys and such when we have our bird fair next month. I belong to a bird club and we have an annual fair to raise money for bird rescue organizations. I like being able to see and touch what I am going to buy. Otherwise I have my favorites bookmarked that I browse thru.
