Irishchicky
Hi everyone. Ive had my timneh lilo for a month now. Things are great. I was just wondering what her chances are of learning to talk. On the forum i see loads of birds that are alot younger than her and talking. I know it depends on the bird but lilo is 15 months now and is just chirping and making random noises. Do you think its too late for her to start talking? Or is it maybe that shes only been with us a month?? Im doing everything i can to encourage her. judygram
Mandy you have plenty of time yet for Lilo to talk, she may be still getting used to being in your home and some may take a couple of years before they talk. I know that a few will never talk, there is no guarantee they do but most all will talk but just keep talking to her and I imagine that in time she will start talking your head off, just be patient. Irishchicky
Yeah I guess patience is key with a grey;) She barked like a dog today for some reason  There must have been a dog in her previous home
judygram
I would imagine you will hear some stuff that she learned from her former home and she will add more from your home, just wait until you hear her laugh like you, my Josey does that, its really funny when you hear yourself laugh and you got your mouth closed. danmcq
Your TAG will blossom, irishchicky. The dog barking is cute and there will be a lot more to come over time. :-)
