pynkzephyr
wanted to post a couple more pics of my tree top ham and Sugar the bossy green cheek that runs our household (at least in HER mind she does!) - if she is bored, she will call out like she does when hubby pulls in the drive after work - just to make the dogs bark and run around like crazy - then she sits back and laughs (heh-heh-heh) while bobbing up and down, enjoying the conure-chaos! EFGriffith
The third one in this series is my fave. (S?)he looks like he's saying, "Oh, you want a picture of me? Well, I'm a little shy, but okay, if you must... But be sure to get my good side."
pynkzephyr
he's such a ham! he fluffed and ruffled, then twisted and turned, turned his back on me while looking at the ceiling and then stuck his neck waaay out - like, oh are you STILL there? judygram
I can relate to that conure, my sun conure can be bossy too and she can be a feisty little thing sometimes too but I love her to pieces. That "tree top ham" is a good looking grey, thanks for sharing them with us.

pynkzephyr
I am more than a little excited, as you can tell!! We had talked about cages and hubby had seen an 18' x 18' with a play top and did not quite get it at first when i kept telling him it was way too small. so we talked a little more about how we could compromise (i am a fan of bigger is better when housing birds) and he said he would look around for something more medium sized there is a family owned pet store near us and he has done business with them for over 20 years and they were having a sale..... and that is what he brought home! i am so tickled. plenty of room to move and for toys - the top opens up as well which will be great after i move him to 'his room' and don't have to worry about plants (i have a houseful of those too ) and dogs - pynk
