Guest Monique Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I believe the correct answer to this is "no" because their respiratory systems are sensitive and most people don't know all of exactly what does and doesn't bother our feathered friends. Personally, I do burn the occasional scented candle and used occasional scented Carpet Fresh. But I do so very sparsely. I love Yankee candles ... they smell so yummy. If you have carpets, you might also try dusting a layer of baking soda over them prior to vacuuming. (The baking soda is non-scented, harmless, and odour absorptive.
