Journeyman
I have a question, I meant to ask this of danmcq, however... Why does Cosmo drop his wings every once in a while, especially while he's on my finger? <br><br>Post edited by: Journeyman, at: 2009/01/05 22:
mjames74
Showing affection 99% of the time. Like a mating stance. When Echo does it the does a kind of chirp/panting sound and sometimes bobs her head trying to bring me up a "gift". It annoys some people but I enjoy it. Let's me know just how much she loves me. Journeyman
Is that the whole thing? I know about the regurgitation thing, however, Cosmo does the whole panting "song and dance" too. I thought he was annoyed at me!

Journeyman
By the way, Echo is a great name. Cosmo "echo's" everything I say and do. He even imitates my gargling in the morning.
mjames74
Yeah they are definately good mimics. Took me a bit to figure out a recent one but she mimics the times when I could use a gas-x. LOL

Journeyman
Yeah, Cosmo too. I'd like it better if he brought my slippers.
Lyric
Birdie love, the slippers would be better but if he was a cat he'd bring you a dead mouse. Enjoy the affection, he's a cutie!
Journeyman
Well, I did get him to say "Hello Rick" when I enter the room or when I come home.
judygram
Jen is right about the dead mouse and sometimes it is just parts:sick: they leave for you. Congrats on getting Cosmo to greet you by your name, usually it is their name they use.
AshleyKay
Ace drops his wings for me often. He drops this really, really low to where his sides are exposed, makes me nervous that he will lose his balance sometimes (he never has yet) He only does it for me though, so I always thought it was an affection or submissive type behavior.
