Wow, you're coming up with some amazing questions! I'd answer them with useful info if I could, but I haven't got a clue! But it's good to get us all thinking!

I give my Errol it raw, bbq'd steamed, and boiled... I chunk it up, give it to her whole, I cut it in wheels, and I've taken the husk and rolled it in a thin coat of home-made (no sugar) peanut butter, and rolled that in seeds, and froze it for a warm summer treat...she LOVES Corn!!!

I've fed it boiled or raw. I cut the corn into wheels and thread it on a kabob and hang it in her cage. My sun conure is so cute when she eats corn, she eats all the inside and leaves the husk of the kernal.

I've also fed both boiled & raw, on and off the cob. On the cob is my Macaw's favorite. My Grey and Conure like the delicate little kernels better. :)

Corn is not a good source of vitamins and minerals so make sure he eats other stuff also. It is a good source of calories though. My bird loves it also, i'm sure he'd be happy only eating corn.
