Birdie Treats

I have found in our local pet store they sell treats for many differend types of birds. How healthy are these? I don't want to feed Bandit something that may hinder his health. Is there something I sould be looking for in the ingrediants?

 

I also saw a bag full of some sort of "sprigs" and are good for all types of birds. The bag said it had some sort of seeds in them. The sprigs are dried and promotes foreging. I can not remember what they were call but, if anyone knows what I am talking about, would these be health?

I give my CAGs treats in the form of nuts and seed and as long as its in moderation you can give them some. When looking on the packet just make sure its safe for parrots/birds and you should be fine.

 

I think what you are talking about are millet spray and they are fine for your birds.

Thanks, now that you have said it it is the millet sprigs!! I could not remember what they were called.
