Tail Feathers

We have been told the Molly is a timneh grey and over the last few weeks there have been new feathers coming through and the new tail feathers are red!

Could she be a congo or can timnehs get red tail feathers?

timnehs when the feathers are new or after a bath they seem redder but if the beak is pure black and red tail feathers you have a congo. Timnehs had a partial bone colored beak. As well their tails are more burgundy then bright red like the congos. Hope this helps

Could she have been bred from a congo and a timneh?

Her other tail feathers are a very muted red colour almost grey.

Mollys photos before show that she is a Timneh, you can get Hybrids we have a couple of members on here with them. Can you post a picture of the new feathers?
