Mingus
Any hints. Of course my Timneh is only 5 and-a-half months old, so a scratchy and nasal voice is probably normal at this stage. Those of you with some experience with this, is there something I can do to clear up his speaking or will it just happen over time, without any particular effort? Jane08
It will happen over time, nothing you can do to help him. Our male started out at that age trying to talk and it was very unclear. The more he practised the better he got unitl we could finally understand the words. At that age he also sounded more mechanical when he spoke, but now he has picked up more a a normal voice. casper
Yes, I agree with Jane. My greys are all different ages and if you could here all three you would tell the difference in speech. My 9month old grey still is unclear with a lot of his words but the elder grey who is 18 months is very clear except for the new words he is learning. Just lots of practise thats all. Mingus
Thanks to both of you. I'll keep teaching him and having fun with him. I'll let him develop normally as his own progress dictates.
