shazgeoff Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Well rock steady Eddie me thinks is spoilt rotten already. This morning ive cooked him rice and some pasta with broccoli, cabbage, carrots. Chopped up some raw red pepper which he loves, mixed it in with teaspoon of palm oil. But what does he prefer his seeds, great huh
she Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Well isnt that typical.I get in a right flap if the supermarket does not have Charlies favourite veg mix in, I also give him cooked food but he has his own ideas about what he wants.Keep giving him the good stuff and eventually he will try it.
Mistyparrot Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 My foolproof way to get Misty to eat his food is to put it on my plate. He simply can't resist it. The only problem is that when he has had enough he insists on tipping the plate up. This can make soup a particular challenge! Steve n Misty
Luvparrots Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I haven't done so much cooking since, who remembers!!!! My new baby eats everything. No one said greys eat so much!!! Can't wait for the DNA results to come in. Darn such a long wait!! I haven't had so much fun in a long time!!

danmcq Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Oh, if he is fledging. It is normal for every young bird to slow down in eating to lighten up body weight to make the flights easier.
