Big nostrils!

Hello everyone! I've noticed that Tuki my CAG has slightly bigger nostrils than normal! :blink: What does this mean? I hope he's not ill!

Are they both larger than normal? Is there any sign of discharge from the nostrils?

Hi, it is just today that I've noticed them. They both look bigger to me! No dischage from them, but I can see right into them! I'm sure I'm not just imagining they're bigger! I don't know how to put pics on a post, so I've put some in my profile pics, thanks.

Those are normal healthy looking Nostrils. If you stare at them intensely, they do look large. :-)

They do look a little bigger than my Josey's do but if everything else is normal then I am sure he is fine but you can always ease your mind by giving your avian vet a call.

I know what you mean about if you stare at something, it looks bigger, but they really seemed to stand out today, and I thought they looked odd and big! Thanks for your help, and I'll look on the article about posting pics to see if I can work it out ha ha!

Ice's nostrils are big to probably similar to Tuki..........all the better to smell you with!!!! :laugh:

Hi Amber I tink that they just look that way because he has allot of dust around them try washing his face and see if that helps I know Tycos always look bigger when her face is covered with dander dust.

Eh, hes got big nostrils. I have big ears.....My husband has a really huge...ego. We are all a bit different, I wouldnt sweat it.
