Dave007 Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 No, not your common everyday illnesses but they can get sick if your saliva accidently got swallowed by them. Not all the time but enough times to make sure to avoid it. Another way they can get sick is if have a cold or cough and you cough or sneeze near them and your saliva gets ingested by them.
