Trustdace Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Here is a video of the wife and I feeding a wild flock of wading birds. These bird's beak are exactly shaped like tweezers. I think they are a species of ibis. It is another bird I was delighted with. This preserve has so much to see and you get to interact so closely with these animals i cannot explain the experience. On this trip alone I took 364 pics and recorded 24 videos of at least 1 minute each.
danmcq Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Nice video. Did you receive any piercings from those spears for beaks? ;-)
judygram Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 You are lucky Roger to live where you have many such animal and bird preserves to see them in a more natural habitat and yes they do have a very long beak similar to scissors, thanks for sharing them with us.
