Can anyone give me any advice on the best place to get a cage? Petco and Petsmart seem very pricey, but I'm not sure about the reputation of the online dealers. I'm getting a Timneh Grey in a few weeks. Can't wait!

I got my greys cage on Ebay and it's just as good quality as the cages we sell at the pet store I work at. It's not a "name brand" cage like California or Dinesty but I actually like mine more...plus it was half the price.

Pet Solutions has an Ez Care cage on for $275. You can find it on line. The entire front opens for easy cleaning. Large crock pots and playtop. I luv the one I got for my new baby Tag which will be coming home 1/29. Good luck on your shopping adventure.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2008/11/19 20:44

I agree with BMustee. I've gotten cages through companies that advertise on EBAY for years. As she said, there's no name on the cages but just checking the attached descriptions will tell you that there's no difference in them and the cages in chain stores. There's plenty of styles and sizes for just about every type parrot that exists and they come with guarantees.

I got my cage from www.kingscages.com they are very goodcages and cheaper than the local pet stores. But, the Kings brand is a little more expensive than some of the others.

But, I have bought all of my cages online.
