When I ask Gizmo to come out of his cage he always say comeón lets go upup. do you think that upup was the comand his old owner used for step up. and if so so you think I should use the same command? or can I change it to stepup because thats what I'm used to saying.

It could be Pat but if you are used to using "step up" for the command for all your other birds then I think Gizmo will get used to it easier than you using a different one just for him. He will catch on quick when he sees your other birds step up for that command, besides it is leaving old habits behind from his previous home, he is in yours now and he will adjust.

It is possible. I say "on" to Charlie and Cracker.Try and see. If it works slowley replace that comand with your own. Say upup followed by your own command as he steps up.Then in time leave out upup.
