kapinson
Hi there, my name's Kelsey. I've had birds for years, but a month or so ago I got my first grey, Jane. Jane is a congo grey, and 2 years old. The woman I bought her from has always referred to Jane as a 'she', but I'm unsure as to whether Jane was DNA tested. Within the first week I got Jane, she would periodically try to regurgitate for me. Lately, Jane has been doing what looks exactly like the mating dance my little male red-bellied parrot, Turk, does. She holds out her wings and makes little 'chuffing' noises. I was just wondering, is this a thing all greys will do? Or only males, like the poicephalus parrots? She seems awfully young for all this silliness.
Dave007
All greys, male or female, do that. So, a DNA test might still be in order.
