david55
Well, I more the perch close to the bottom of the cage, along with her toys. She still wants to climb to the top and look at me like see, I made it, struggling to get back down. What's a father to do......
Luvparrots
Have you placed an old towel with paper over it at the bottom of her cage to cushion any falls? Because of course she wants to be up higher, that's where you are. The goal is to get her more steady on her feet so you want her exploring up higher. And I believe you are a great father or you wouldn't care.
judygram
Placing the towel on the bottom of the cage is about all you can do if she is determined to climb up the side of the cage, she wants to be high up so she can see you. Just don't stress out too much over it or you will have her stressed out too, she will be fine, David.
BaxtersMom
When one of my birds fell, It scared me pretty good too. I put an old blanket on the bottom of the cage and all folded up it was a few inches thick. I felt much better about it after that. Like Judy said, don't stress out about it too much;)
