david55 Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Where should I put her bed? Last night she slept on her water bowl and the perch. I had her bedat the far end of the cage, away from the food and water.
judygram Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 What did you have for a bed? My Josey just perches on her boing to sleep for the night, some members greys use a tent like hut that hangs in the cage but they decide where they will sleep and some will just use one of their perches. She slept on her water bowl because she was in a strange place and that is the first place she saw as suitable and maybe she just didn't want to move off it but when she feels more comfortable she will find where she wants to sleep.
she Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 They decide where to sleep. Charlie sleeps on the top perch and cracker sleeps either on the top perch or under his news paper on the bottom of the cage. She was as Judy pointed out most likely feeling a bit strange and will choose her sleeping place as she settles. I to would be interested in knowing what her bed is.
david55 Posted November 8, 2008 Author Posted November 8, 2008 Her bed is the hut looking tunnel that she had when she was at the store
judygram Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Then I would leave it in the cage for her, she may go back to using it again when she feels more comfortable and if not you can remove it. Some birds will use them and some will not.
